Collection Description: The Local History Room has genealogy and local history books and other materials on Groton and surrounding towns as well as some material on Connecticut and New England. Also included in the collection are city directories, newsletters, photographs, slides, post cards, and subject-indexed files of news and magazine articles. There is an on-line collection of local history materials at: http://www.town.groton.ct.us/history/list.asp.
