Other information: The museum is located on the northeast corner of the green on Route 61.

Collection Description: The museum houses an assemblage of costumes, tools, and articles used during the late 19th and early 20th century. No information is available about the other holdings of the Society, but the website displays historic photos. District #1 Schoolhouse is open during the Christmas Town Festival the first weekend in December and before and after the Memorial Day Parade. The Schoolhouse was built circa 1850. The society has restored the building to be used as a living museum.
