Collection Description: Collections include artifacts, books, furnishings, decorative arts, and archival material relevant to the history of Haddam and to the Thankful Arnold House Museum. They include:

  • The Arnold Collection of personal and business papers of brothers Samuel and Isaac Arnold, and Isaac’s son, Isaac Jr. The documents cover the period 1840-1892 and include personal and business letters, sales records, Haddam town business, and political party matters.
  • The Haddam Collection of archival materials related to the town of Haddam and its businesses, organizations, individuals, and families from 1670 to the present. Included are account books, business and industry.
