Other information: The Society is currently in the early stages of cataloging the collection, and not all items are researchable in our collections software.

Collection Description:The Bridgewater Historical Society records include business papers, maps, photographs, newspaper, family histories and personal papers. In the Peck House, displays include rooms with period Victorian furnishings and exhibits depicting the social and cultural history of Bridgewater. The Society also maintains the Captain's House, circa 1851, with displays of post office and general store collections. This house was the childhood home of Captain William Dickson Burnham.
